Here are several articles related to triathlon training and planning for seniors that I came across over the past month. Several of these from this month’s finds should also inspire you to become and stay fit.

This post from the American College of Sports Medicine describes how recovery for a person older than age 50 differs from that of younger athletes. Applying the principles defined in this article will help older athletes stay active and competitive longer.

    After learning to swim later in life, Natalie Grabow began competing in triathlons at age 60. This month, she set the world record as the oldest woman to finish the Kona Ironman World Championship.

    Sister René Parman began golfing in her 40s and has continued since then as a way to physically and socially active.
